From the Headmaster
Our Years 7-9 students settle into examinations this week. One of our Year 8s has just told me he clocked up 10 hours on the weekend working through his study guides. What a terrific effort, definitely taking to heart Lao-Tzu’s maxim: “A scholar who cherishes the love of comfort is not fit to be deemed a scholar”.

 Year 3R

Teacher: Andrew Rezk

Class Parents: Phillip & Elizabeth Moore

WELCOME TO 3R
Mr Andrew Rezk

The class of 3R has been working hard throughout the year to complete exciting learning experiences. This includes the integration of information technology in all learning areas. The boys have enjoyed writing narratives and then typing the narratives on Microsoft Word and then adding pictures and animations to their texts.   3R have tackled mathematics problems and concepts with great enthusiasm. The boys have been given problems that they have put into a PowerPoint presentation and developed creative ways of showing the answer.   In Science and HSIE the boys have learnt about Australian flora and fauna and the British colonisation of Australia. The boys have actively completed internet research activities in class to further their knowledge of science and HSIE content.   Sport and Music are a big part of the academics of the 3R classroom. Many boys have attained successes in Cross Country and the Swimming Carnival results as well as performing in the School Choir. Mr Andrew Rezk Year 3 TeacherThe boys have been enjoying using IT in most areas of learning and these activities have been complimenting their other school work and homework.
