From the Headmaster
Our Years 7-9 students settle into examinations this week. One of our Year 8s has just told me he clocked up 10 hours on the weekend working through his study guides. What a terrific effort, definitely taking to heart Lao-Tzu’s maxim: “A scholar who cherishes the love of comfort is not fit to be deemed a scholar”.

SPORTING AFFILIATIONS

In addition to competition within teams organised by the College sports’ clubs, students also have the opportunity of competing in the HZSA Competition (Hills Zone Sports’ Association), an alliance of local, government and non-government schools.  Competition includes mid-week soccer, rugby, tennis and cricket, and carnivals in swimming, athletics, cross country and triathlon.  Students selected to represent the zone go on to compete in the AICES Competition which then feeds into the CIS (Combined Independent Schools).
